Help with fundings? please read

Hi everyone i have rescued to bull mastiff, unfortunately my boy Hagrid is now suffering from entropion i have only had him about 2 months, and in the last 3 weeks he has gone blind in his right eye.
I noticed the problem after cutting my grass and thought he was suffering with hayfever unfortunately after two days he was feeling no better so took him to the vets, they told me what his problem was, and said he needed a £600 operation, as i have only had him six weeks prior i hadn't yet sorted out insurance and asked them to set up a payment plan. Which unfortunately they declined as the condition they said isn't life threatening it's just life altering.
In two weeks i have managed to save £350 cash through selling, and scrimping and saving and the RSPCA has offered me a £50 voucher making £400 and my vets still will not agrue to a payment plan for the last £200.
Although they have stated that if he starts showing signs of going blind in the other eye they could do something then.

Does anyone know of any organisations that may be willing to help with funding? so i can finally help my baby boy end his suffering and get his operation.

Try Tailwaggers Club Trust, they will probably be able to help.

Also, if you got him from a rescue centre, they may be able to help out with costs.

I would just keep saving - sounds like you are quite good at it!
Or maybe ask a family member for a short term loan?

Have you tried any other vets? There's no law forcing you to stay with the same vets or to stop you shopping around for quotes - just be wary that cheap may not necessarily equal quality (though expensive doesn't guarantee that either)

Boot sales.
Race Evenings
Sponsored cleaning!
face painting
I raised £1k for a dog`s op in 2 months that way.

eta - oh, and a quiz! Many pubs have function rooms they will let you have for free if you attract a reasonable number of people. You charge per team, and also hold a raffle on the night.

PDSA?
Tailwaggers?

I would also speak to the rescue Hagrid came from, and ring round other vets for a quote, or torequest whether they might consider a payment plan agreement.
