Where to buy raw bones Edinburgh/Lothians?

I was just wondering if anyone knew any butchers to buy dog bones from in and around Edinburgh area?

hi not sure if you are anywhere near the abattoir at slate ford but we used to get some from there but my friends dad ran it thats probably why..

Depends where in edinburgh you are - but i use corstorphine butchers and they have given me some before... just a case of asking...

Is there a slaughterhouse in Edinburgh at all now ?.

You might have some luck in the more high end butchers as these tend ( though not always) to do their own butchering as opposed to the growing trend of having meat prepacked and little different from the supermarket.
Have a look in Morrison's you can get lamb breast and oxtail there, also salmon heads.
