My lot arent keen on pheasant, it's a rich meat. They have eaten it in the past (and with Flynn it usually comes back up again!) but, as with pigeon, they faff around and eat it reluctantly.

May be worth a try feeding it frozen.

Both great ideas, thanks.

How would you suggest I cook it?

Mine weren't too keen either, Harry dustbin ate it in the end (he will eat anything!)

I'm going to mince it and mix it in with some veggie mash next time II get a pheasant an see if they prefer it.

I usually blanche (poor boiling water over it) when Cooper really won't touch something.

Teg won't eat pheasant, it was one I found just after it had been killed so at least I hadn't spent any money on it.

Luna won't eat pheasant, pigeon and other wild birds. I've just accepted that

She loves chicken and turkey and ostrich (well she's only tried fat from one, but still)

She doesn't like raw fish either. I can mix some in with other kinds om meat, but she won't eat an entire meal of just fish.

Strange doggie
