Rosie - 8 year old female Jack Russell Terrier
Rosie, Jack Russell Terrier (and Mollie PatterJack), DOB 9.06.03 - Sheffield
Homing Requirements: Rosie comes with her companion dog Mollie. As ever we ask future owners to be able to afford the up keep of 2 dogs. They are still with their family in Sheffield so must be prepared to travel. Both have lived with 6 year old children and upwards from a young age but are not conversant with toddler age. Rosie needs aware management when meeting dogs.
Her Story: Rosie was bought as a pup to join Mollie who was then a 5 month old pup. They have been very happy together. Their owner had a baby over a year ago and was concerned when the crawling toddler grabbed Mollie's tail and Mollie told her off just catching its cheek but no lasting mark. They have been kept separate since. Both have now been spayed ready for re-homing.
Advert: Rosie is very loyal to her family and her canine companion Mollie. She loves to be fussed, picked up and played with. She is good with kids but over 8 year old live in children, as she need this home to be successful. Rosie isn't interested in other dogs and she is kept on lead if other dogs are around. Rosie can be let off lead but if other dogs are around she can chase them. "She is small and can get into a few scrapes". Her owner always plays safe and cautious. She loves to run and play with her ball in a quiet field, her recall is good. Rosie can salivate on long journeys. She is housetrained and understands 'sit'.
Rosie is a lovely little Jack. She is simply happy in her home, being with her family and playing with her toys. You hardly know she is there and with an owner offering her more than the time pressures dictate with her current owner, she would blossom further and simply delight. A terrier family who will lead these 2 terriers with confidence and rejoice in their terrier gifts.
If you are interested in re-homing please complete our homing questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.
***PLEASE NOTE: We are a rescue finding dogs their forever homes. We usually ask for a minimum donation of £150 at the time of adoption, for each dog, to help us continue helping homeless dogs***.
