I rehomed him privately in March 2010,when he was approx 1 year old.Since I rehomed him I did some digging into his past and I have found that he had had 4 homes before mine in less than a year.

This boy has only been with me a week,I found him in my local rescue centre. The only history I have on him is that he was a stray and he had been straying for at least 5 weeks as there were people trying to catch him.
He is approx 5 years old and is a little star.

This little lady was due to die on death row in the pound. Who wants a middle aged staffie X? She was taken in at the last minute by a rescue and fostered out to a friend. We fell in love with her and the rest is history.

From Vigil Rescue - handed in with the info that she was fighting with the resident dogs and was fine otherwise. Was walked every day.
I took her home and found her to be totally unsocialised (I doubt she`d ever left her garden), human aggressive and downright dangerous as she`d learned not to give warnings and went in hard and fast.
4 years later she is a total sweetie and loved by all who know her. Beautiful, passionate, joyful and loyal - she has rewarded our patience by turning into the dog she should have been.

Saved from an Irish Pound on his last day by an Irish Rescue, this sad shorthaired pointer spent some time in Rescue then was brought to England by Allbreeds Rescue. He was a sorry sight - frightened, bewildered, skinny and stressed.
He is now an Old Boy who loves his snoozes in the sun and insists on a duvet to cover his old bones on cold nights, and drives my son mad by frequently drinking his tea.

Discovered in a wooden crate in a field during a police and RSPCA raid on a Breeder, this black Shepherd was covered with festering wounds, severely underweight - and completely terrified.
I can only imagine the hell he`d gone through - but in all the time being moved, treated, having his wounds dressed and cleaned, not once did he show any sign of aggression.
In spite of the horror of his life, he loved other dogs, loved to watch what went on and loved his food. It was people who frightened him.
Now he lives in my house and is very slowly learning that we don`t cause him pain. He will allow us to stroke him. He will play with my son sometimes. He is relaxed and as happy as we can make him. One day I hope he will trust me.

At 18 months old, this lively doberman x gsd had gone through two homes and two fosters plus two extended stays in Rescue. The RSPCA Inspector told the kennel owner to have him PTS because the last place had brought him back after a week saying he`d bitten - and you can`t rehome a biter.
There`s not a bite in this dog - when pressed, the people admitted that. He`s a big lively puppy who needs guidance and education.
He is tremendous fun - and my blood runs cold when I think how a convenient lie would have ended his life before he even grew up.

I was going through a really hard time when this gorgeous boy appeared in my life. He came from a death row rescue and I’m so glad they saved him. He’s from Ireland originally and raced in the south of England. He was discarded when no longer a winner, he raced almost 70 races in his time L He’s brought so much joy into my life and I love taking him places with me as he’s so easy going and takes everything in his stride. He’s a soppy boy who loves nothing more than ear rubs and cuddles. He is brilliant on walks and great with all other dogs, he loves kids and means the world to me. He may be black (and considered boring by some) but I think he’s stunning and can’t help taking pictures of him! I don’t know what I’d do without him in my life.

Dumped 2 towns over from me and left for dead. In labour with 5 puppies who were sadly too badly damaged from mum being beaten to survive. She was covered in cigarette burns and cuts and was terrified of everything. I picked her up on the 7th of Jan 2009, 7 days after she was found and couldnt imagine life without her.
