Can anyone help with my dogs' socialising??!

We have recently rescued our Rottweiler who was great from the start with my GSD. He didn't seem to take any notice of other dogs but since having him does sometimes pull towards them and looks more interested in them.

Basically i'm wondering if there are any people/dogs near-ish that would walk with us... I think Zeus is good with other dogs but we still aren't sure, where we walk we see loads of other dogs but we call ours back until passed cos they are big and not very mannerly! We are just being careful and although we see lots of dog walkers its not the way I want to do it.

We can meet half way and I have muzzles for both dogs if necessary.

Zeph (GSD) is nervous aggressive so i'm always on the look out for new friends for him! He sometimes barks at other dogs, sometimes charges, or just carefully sniffs! He gives it the gob but he's just a bit confused, he's never been introduced to a dog that he hasn't soon made friends with!

Any help greatly appreciated!

I'm the other end of the country, but would love to have helped

Is there no dog-training class you could go to? Am sure they would be only too happy to help with the socialization side of things?

Thanks guys!

My partner and I have said we could take Zeus to classes will have to ask around as I don't know of any. I doubt we'd find one that would take Zeph, he's too much of a hooligan!!

Just bumping this!

If anyone can recommend classes, group walks or can join us for walks would be great!
