Homemade toys

After asking about the Kong Wubbas yesterday, I googled homemade toys and found a link to some fleece tug toys.
My nan had given my mother a box of old material and in there were some fleece off cuts, so last night I made 2 sky blue long tuggies and this morning I made 2 small striped fleece tuggies.
I'm quite pleased with them and Cooper is playing with one of the short ones as I type

Heres a pic of a short one and a long one

Cooper has started to shred his stuffed toys so I have kept all the stuffing and will be making some stuffed toys as well.

They are great

I made some scoubi doo type tug like that, but made it from cotton fabric & stuffed it - they didn't last long!!
I think the fleece is tougher, I tie loads into random knots & Tilly loves them and they can't be de - stuffed

The fleece ones above are really easy to make as well, they take about 5 mins and feel quite sturdy.
We will see how long they last though as my mums new boy Harry is home tonight!

Introducing the Tillymint "Tilly Tugger"
I made it last night using fleece & a tennis ball & Tilly has been testing it out since

and the fleece squeaky bones are multiplying by the day

I think I've made about 30 now - yesterday's batch
