Happy happy happy!

Mr and mrs unsociable have made a friend!!!

We have done our best since our dogs arrived to get them used to other dogs but Phil can be very snappy and generally unfriendly with other dogs.

Yesterday we took next doors retriever out for walkies with our pair and they all got on wonderfully!!
Huge progress. I'm soo proud of our hounds.

Ella (the retriever) has got a lovely temperement. She's very puppyish and insisted on licking phil and paris' faces constantly and bounding up to them
I was quite concerned as this would usually provoke a reaction in phillip but he was so patient with her, my jaw was on the floor watching her lick his face! They all came back to our garden for a biscuit and a drink afterwards.

It probably doesnt sound like much to you guys but it really is huge progress, Phil generally wont let another dog get within a metre without snapping. I wish we knew more dogs like Ella to help him over his fears.
