The Sahara

It's been so nasty and wet today I've been scanning old photos and putting them on the PC.

This as a desert pic, from a charity trek I did a few years ago. It's such a fab place for pictures - the light and shadows are just stunning.

Wow, thats really cool!
It actually looks like a computer animation type of picture, because of the surface of the sand, and the shadow!

Just spotted them, that's amazing!! and the other photos are great too. How long did you trek accross the sand for DM, and how did you ever hear about something like that?

A week. 100km, walking by day, under canvas (or just under the stars) at night.
Macmillan Cancer relief go every year I think. You have to get lots of sponsorship and pay something (can't remember what ?£300) yourself.

It ws such a wonderful experience...........
