Two Shih Tzu Puppies :) (tick problem)

Hi i have recently joined the site to see if i could get some advice on how to prevent my two puppies picking up ticks. They have had about 8 on them between them within the last two days and i was just woundering if there was anything i could put on them to try and discourage the ticks?

I use Frontline but am not sure how old your pups are and if it is suitable for puppies?

i use the frontline spray.. i think it`s suitable for really tiny puppies .. at a few weeks/days old.. it`s only available from your vet so they`ll advise you. It doesn`t stop the ticks attaching but they shrivel up and die really quickly.

Any idea where they are picking them up from? You say they are puppies, how old are they?
