I suppose it depends on the type of surface they are running on. I only did a few minutes at a time with my two, to build it up gradually. I haven't been out for ages because the Walkydog keeps moving and I want to buy the Springer.

You need to build up their fitness gradually, and really trotting is better than running, at least untill their fitness is very high. I am doing upto 8 miles with 2 of my Borders, they are not tired when we get back, but do sleep well!

Thanks for that, he is really enjoying it, today when i got his harness he ran srt8 to the shed for the bike lol
i have done 30 min for the past 3 days but that isnt none stop dont lots of transitions and turing (he doing really well goes left when i say seft etc)
the surface is a mixture of grass and hard.
he isnt running tbh more of jogging i have only been using the 1st 7 gears on my bike to keep the speed down
