Hi there

Hi everyone
Just joined, so saying hello!
Is there anyone 'out there' who is as totally besotted, with greyhounds as I am? I've had rescued greyhounds for the last 30+ years, my latest 'girl', no. 5, is a bit of a strange one! Is she a greyhound, with 'dangly ears' or as a lot of people suggest a sloughi? Watched Calender Girls the other night - God Bless Annette Crosbie, - not only did she wear a greyhound rescue sweatshirt she also managed to get Bonnie into the film, She has 3 greys but I always remember her Bonnie, as I also had a Bonnie.
Hope to hear from anyone, who is as totally obsessed with greyhounds, as I am and I make no apologies for that. I am so pleased that they are now becoming accepted as wonderful companions. When I rescued my first little girl, I was thought really odd! But that was back in the early sixties and they weren't considered as pets. Now, thank goodness, their profile has become enhanced, and it is lovely to see so many people walking their 'greys'
Oh I should say I also have Jamie, a rough collie, who is also a rescue, I have two other R.C's, Simon and Sweep, Blue Merle and Tri. So any R.C. owners out there?
Bye for now
Chris

Hi Dawn
Thanks for the message, don't know how to attach pics (Thick bitch!)
Was really impressed that some-one knew what a sloughi was !! In my 30+ years of rescuing 'greys' never heard of them! When some-one first said "Oh a Sloughi" pronounced Sloogie - I thought they were talking about my knickers !!
Best wishes
Chris
