Well I was only 18 when I had my eldest and my Mum was 44. He's 18 now and when he any my Mum are out together they are like mother and son! He is like the son she never had only having two girls and has taken over her heart from the day he was born. When that baby is born you will forget any fears or anxieties trust me.

Congrats Nana (that's what my Mum likes to be called, she said she was too young for Grannie!!)

thank you but grannie makes me feel like an antique

i couldnt sleep last night just thinking about it. OH said it gives us an excuse to go visiting the zoo's and kiddies theme parks again, so i suppose it does have a silver lining.

Nan or Nana would be cool but i still cant get my head around all this yet.

I guess you think of your daughter as still very much a child herself, but at 23 years, she hasn't rushed into it...you could've been a grannie 7 (or more!) years ago
