I consider PetPlan's lifetime policy to be one of the best, if not the best.

They seem be very good and paying out and paying out fast.

It's who my two dogs are insured with.

ETAl: According to friends of mine who are vets nursers, and other sources, they believe they are the best as well.

That said, I see you have a Shar Pei.....I don't think many insurance companies insure Shar Peis.

Not sure about them all, so maybe you should phone around different companies and ask them.

I'm with the Kennel Club. So far they have been very good! A week after sending back my claim form I had the money in my bank!! Even better the monthly rate isn't going up now that it's up for renewal!

It's £25ish a month and it's for a miniature poodle.

We've just changed from Pet Plan to the NFU - the cover is still for life, same amount per condition, lower excess and better cover for certain things like advertising reward... even better less than half the price! That was for a pedigree border collie, nearly 3 years old with no claims...

I'm with Sainsbury's. Was with M&S but they put it up to high. Have done a quote with LV, it came back at almost the same price as I paid for Poppy!

My brother has just bought a CKCS puppy and he's considering Argos Platinum cover.

Im with Tescos for Parker but previously was with Virgin, and am with Sainsbury's for Cherry. None of these companies will insure Shar Peis. Think it may be a problem getting insurance for this breed-why don't you contact the Shar Pei breed representative from "Dog World" or "Our Dogs" paper? They would be a good bet to ask.

I used to have that, they were good until the massive price hike.
