Show & Garden Pictures (Basenji)

Hi There,

Loads of Maya pictures again First ones are from a show we went to today (rubbish day showing wise with the lab and pug, great day out for Maya though) and the rest were from Maya's afternoon in the garden

She is PERFECT to live with, a complete joy to own She is quiet, makes no noise except to greet me when i come home - much yodelling and wiggling, SO cute! She was pretty much housetrained when i got her! She doesnt chew, she doesnt moult and she doesnt smell like dog Cant complain

She is lovely. I think I read somewhere that they are more like cats than dogs, is that true?

Yes, they are incredibly cat like. They wash like a cat, are pretty silent & sneaky round the house like a cat, and they can also jump on anything Maya loves to be up high, can be a pain when she is trying to find her way onto the kitchen worktops And even my little 2 year old nephew seems to agree, he is adamant that she is a cat not a dog and keeps trying to make her meow
