Thankyou for allowing me to judge this class, it was so very hard to decide on the winners, each and everyone of them are so deserving of an award, they have all gone through so much in their lifetimes and now, thanks to the care and dedication of their owners, they have had a second chance at happiness. I'm not ashamed to say I wept at their stories, at what these guys had to endure at the hands of mankind, but they came through it all.
If I had my way, all the entrants in this class would have had an award

My first place winner, what a happy looking boy, he just stood out.

In second place is Shady, another brutalised animal that now looks so content with life

This little lady touched me to the core, bred continuously for profit and then thrown to one side

I was so glad to here that Rosie found peace and love during her twilight years

Another beautiful lady who, I'm sure, gave as much love back as she recieved to her rescuer.

Dear Willow, such a fighter despite all the setbacks.

This girl must have been so bewildered when her elderly owner died, Im so glad she too is having a wonderfully happy old age

Another old timer, rescued from a country where animal care is at a low, he too is now a happy old lad.

Poor little Amber had an awful start to life, but just look how she has blossomed.

And last but not least, this guy looks so healthy and vital and above all, happy

[/QUOTE]

can i just commend all the owners of all the entrants for doing such a wonderful job in rescuing these guys, well done folks.

I don't know how you possibly managed to put these in any sort of order... Jackjack would have been so proud of his first place, though he would probably have chewed up the rosette and bitten the judge...

As Annestaff said... All rescue dogs are winners in the end

I think this must have been just about the hardest class to judge as they all had such sad stories.
Thankyou for Shadys placing, all of them are winners though. Lovely and now very lucky dogs.
