It's a shame as, I don't think I'd ever own one due to the specialist skin care etc, but all the CC's I've met have been lovely. With all the crossbreeding, and the irresponsible monetary motivated breeding of any 2 CC's together it seems they are on a slippery slope as a victim of their own success. Shame really, they are becoming noteably "overbred" and slowly as we've seen primarily with cavs, poms and chi's we will loose type, soundness and quality. And as for this cross, I can't even begin to imagine.

totally agree with this, there are some out there that dont look anything like a crested, and there are also some mahoosive ones about, they are getting bigger and bigger.

as for the specialist skin care, think that can be a bit hit and miss.. asbo doesnt have anything extra special done to his skin, except sun cream in the summer. i dont know if its because he charges about in mud (like a spa ) and because we dont live in a house with central heating so he doesnt dry out... or hes just from a line that doesnt have skin issues, because other than the pimply stage they go through when they mature (think of how a teenager gets spots) he has been fine. never dry or cracked, doesnt get spotty or anything. think im lucky
