Not now, but my last Lurcher was fed Chappie meat on the advice of my Vet. She lived to be 18yrs and was very agile and full of life until about 3mths before she was pts.

My present dogs just won't look at it, but it is highly recommended by vets for dogs who need to gain weight or have food allergies.

Isn't original chappie fish? It's supposed to be very good for dogs with delicate tums but it's stinky and very sticky it never wants to leave the spoon. Mine don't like it, it seems to stick to the roof of their mouth and refuse to budge.

I feed my Rottie xGSD Tinned Chappie, the chicken and rice variety. She used to suffer with continuos bouts of bad sickness and upset tums. She has been fine since being on Chappie though and has grown into a very healthy dog.
It is not good if your dog has wheat/gluten type food allergies though (these are the mose common) as it contains a lot of cereals and is not wheat/gluten free which is why my JRT can't have it.

Yep, it's the only tinned meat I feed my dogs but they only have it on occassion and both love it.

I find meat in gravy or jelly upsets them so Chappie is perfect.

Kali used to eat it when he was a little pup-dog, but now, like any canned food, it gets ignored (and BCs can be very expressive when they decide to ignore something ).

Raw beef mince and a small quantity of kibble is their sole (somewhat monotonous ) diet.

Snorri

E.T.A. - a quantity of fresh, lean lamb may be accepted from time to time
