Aggression specialist behaviourist in London

Does anyone have personal experience of a behaviourist who covers the London area who has particular experience with aggression cases? We've have a sudden rise of incidents with Cain recently and I'm wondering if a fresh pair of eyes might be able to see what's causing it.

Hi - she's not an aggression specialist but I will email you the phone number for the trainer who helped me with Dexter so much.

She is extremely experienced and also very positive which I found really helpful. Will PM you right now.

Thanks. How good is he?

His initial consultation is £180 which seems reasonable, but then it says that consultations 10-15 miles away from base are £250. I'm around 30 miles from him so it's likely to be even higher than that and to push it out of my price range I've also never seen a behaviourist charge for telephone/email after support, I found that a bit surprising (bit maybe that's because he's so well qualified)

But if he's really really good, maybe I'll just have to save up.

Thanks Tabitha I love my current dog trainer (who has aggression experience) but I was thinking I probably need an actual behaviourist maybe? But judging how much Dexter has come on (as he's basically over his people aggression isn't he?) then she might well be worth a try, did she help you when he was snapping at you?

Actually by the time I found this trainer, Dex was improving in terms of growling and snapping at me.

But there were still lots of problems and she helped me learn how to manage him around other dogs, as he was lunging violently on lead through excitement etc.

She also taught me how to stop him leaping up at every single person who came nearby - something which nobody else had managed to help me sort out.

She also showed me how to handle him when he got 'spooked' etc and generally helped me understand him better.

She is very, very experienced and talks a lot of common sense which I found helpful.

I have sent you her number so let me know how you get on if you contact her

I also agree Chirag Patel would be a good one. He's trained with Jean Donaldson, (IIRC) so on that alone...
