Jack Russell Massage....do other dogs love it too?

Jimmi absolutely loves this massage, which I gather is renowned for "sending" JRT's.

Splay your fingers and very slowly and firmly work your way up from the tail against the coat, right up to the ears.

Does it work for other dogs too?!! Jimmi would stand for hours having this done and almost goes into a trance, but I tried it with a friend's labrador and she just walked off in disgust!

Sounds lovely!

The family JRT loves being massaged, she gets quite excited and energised by it! Her fur prickles up and her eyes close and she pushes her body against your hand! If you stop, she runs around like a nutter before 'play posing' (butt in air) and bounding towards you. Lol. Shes so funny!!

Must try that one

I like to do a type of healing massage on our dogs, they love it. Harvey doesnt need any healing, but he doesnt like to miss out -

Must try that one! Another good one is on his chest - just stroking in a circulation motion - supposed to be very calming!

My dogs like massage, I would prefer it if they could do it to me in return.

They adore their physio and chiropractic too.
