Lie down infront of it - or walk past with a VERY innocent expression 'wasnt me!'

Being as we have a coal fire and Guinness soon got the hang of "toasting himself" in front of it, I doubt he'd see fire as a bad thing until it became a serious threat, unfortunately.

My Chihuahua would lie infront of it til he burnt, that dog is so nesh we have to have heating to come on during the night in winter in the kitchen where he sleeps so he doesn't get too cold, the things we do.

Well obviously as they belong to me, they would raise the alarm, select the appropriate fire extinguisher for the type of fire it was and put it out (if safe to do so); escort occupants to the Assembly Point, take a roll call and liaise with emergency services when they arrived.

They would then complete an investigation into the the cause of the fire and put together a corrective and preventive action plant to prevent a repeat.

If we're talking about a fire in the grate....knowing mine they would promptly roll on their backs toasting their undercarriage Obviously I would need to turn them every 20 mins (why turn yourself when some fool does it for you)

If you mean something bigger like a bonfire, they don't bother they just stay away xx

Same as above, apart from "Dim Jim" who pushes his nose in bonfires - although he did until he realised it wasn't the brightest thing to do; it did take a few goes though!

We had a firepit at my mum's house Saturday night, dogs were loose in the garden with us. Kiki had the sense to keep a respectable distance but we had to watch Casper who was obliviously trying to walk past it, tail swishing side to side, who probably would have set himself alight
