Problem with Fish4dogs salmon mousse

Hi

Has anyone ever had a problem with the fish4dogs salmon mousse. We ordered it just before christmas when the buy one box, get another one for free was on. Just opened the second box this morning to start using the sachets and it smells funny. Only way I can described it is a sweaty, rancid smell. I opened about 8 to make sure it wasn't just one and they all smelt funny. They are all from the same batch number.

I'm about to ring them up and ask if there has been a reported problem with the mousse.

Karen

Hi Karen I bought two boxes when the offer was running, I opened a pack today and it was fine (I don't give it every day just as an occasional treat) .

Thank you for posting, I will keep an eye on the other packs.

You'll know if the pack is funny - the smell hits you straightaway!

We've just started our 4th box and so far they have all been fine. Its good that they've replaced it so swiftly.

What is the batch number?

I bought some for the dogs and the cats, the cats wont touch it at all whatsoever, even the one that has kidney failure and will eat most things that keep still!

There is nothing wrong with it though, its perfectly ok, just they dont like it, the dogs will eat it eventually.

The numbers on the pouch are EMB62160BI or FR 62-160-056 or 0916101A. Not sure which one is the batch number.

I've just bought a box so thanks for the warning, I will be extra careful, though so far Dex has had two sachets and it seems fine.

Nice to hear that F4D were helpful
