New girl on the block

Hello everyone, my name is Angel and I'm new here, obviously. I'm 24 years old and a full time home maker, from Chesterfield (UK) and I'm getting myself a dog in a few days! YAY! I can't wait. I used to have a taffy cross when I was little, but for the last few years I've had a cat. He was wonderful, but he recently died of kidney failure so I'm getting myself a dog again. A little rescue, my fiancé says anything bigger than a terrier wouldn't be fair on the dog, so no Akita for me but I have always loved Jack Russells. So that's what we're getting, a lovely little Terrier. I don't know when though, I hoped by tomorrow, but it looks like it will probably be next weekend.

I lead a rather active lifestyle, and I'm hoping a little doggy will be just the companion I need for my long walks in the woods and to come with me as I start jogging. I don't really know what else to put, so....yeah, that's me.
