9 down 47 days to go.

My next puppy is now 9 days old. I'm hoping for pictures in the next day or so.

It's probably just as well that Christmas is coming, and I'll have that distraction before I go to visit for the first time. I've decided to call him Ruairi (Rory) but I like the Irish spelling. I did the first bit of puppy shopping yesterday. I've been looking around for a green collar and lead set. Green looks perfect against the coat of an Irish Setter. I eventually found what I was looking for online, so eagerly awaiting delivery of that. I also bought his first toy, a plush squeaky dog, ahh I think it must be about the same size as the puppy is himself just now.

I've also ordered a shamrock shaped ID tag, my older boy Bailey has one, and it's just the job.

I'll be sure to post pictures as soon as I can.

Aww, those 47 days are really going to drag aren't they, but hopefully you'll start getting regular photos to see how he grows & hopefully you'll share them with us.

Lovely name BTW - I bet it will really suit him.
