Aganglianosis resulting in functional Ileus

Now we have a confirmed diagnosis for Tara, not the one we were hoping for, but at least we can now move forward and try to manage the condition.

Has anyone heard of this congenital defect before and can help me research treatments and long term prognosis.

Oh... no... poor Tara...

I have had a look at a few sites... Here's one about treatment for functional Ileus:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7056176

Most of the google sites are about humans, including this one...

Not what you wanted to hear but as you said, at least you know.

I have only heard of it in humans, hopefully you can get some more info on it. *hugs*
