Horror films...know of any good one?

I love horror film, but i really want to see some that i actually find scary, some come on guys any suggestion? whats your fav horror film?

I can't think of any that are really scary. It doesn't sound like you would find any scary

My favourites though are probably Candyman 1 and 2. I like horror films that have a story to go with it, not just gore and jumpy bits I like horror films but usually I just forget about them after I've seen them

silent hill is good, not that scary but really good

I can't watch horror films as I have terrible sleepless nights for ages afterwards.

I stupidly watched one called 'Creep' a couple of months ago and it's still freaking me out now!

I think the scariest, for me anyway, was The Exorcist. Seems a bit tame now, but I still can't watch it alone.

The Descent is a good one.

I think that most of what i would call good were made way back when VHS & BETA were fighting it out.

Evil Dead (first one)(was banned)
I spit on your grave (was banned)
Bogey man (was banned)
The Burning (was banned)

The above were banned for their graphic content but that is nothing to what they show now days so what was banned properly won't get you jumping or going EEWWWWWWW and hiding behind the cushion

I think 'Saw' is pretty scary, its the clown ! Clowns are always scary, I have 'Saw2' on DVD but its still in the wrapping! wimp
