Finlay - Heinz 57
Finlay is a good old fashioned Heinz 57 who is around 4 years old. He is currently in our kennels in South Wales and is desperately seeking a new foster or forever home.
The Finlay Fact File
Dog status: Finlay would like to be the only dog in his new home. He greets most other dogs nicely and is generally a calm dog who reads canine body language well. However, when on the lead he can become frustrated and has been confrontational with other large males on occasion.
Cat status: Will chase, can not be rehomed with cats
Child status: Unknown. Finlay has been in an adult only foster home and came to us as a stray with no history. He may be able to be rehomed with dog savvy children of 11 years plus.
House training: Perfect
Home alone: Very good, he is happy to be left if he has had a walk and has something to chew. He could be rehomed to a full time worker if he had a break in the day for a walk and toilet and got plenty of company and attention at other times.
Basic training: Very good, knows sit, lie down, stay paw and also rolls over which is very cute indeed. He does need work on the lead as he can pull, however, this is much better when wearing a headcollar rather than standard collar.
All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family. Hope Rescue rehomes throughout the UK.
