Which store?

I hope Azz doesn't mind me posting this, if so, please delete it!

I'm doing my business plan, and would like to do a bit of market research to help me!

Ok, assuming you don't have internet access, would you rather shop somewhere like Pets At Home, or in your local pet shop?

If possible, please reply with reasons for your choice!

Def not Pets at Home..... don't like that sort of animal superstore. I just don't trust them.... the 'we'll sell anything as long as someone will buy it' attitude and they are also soooooo expensive compared to the little local shops.

I have been there a few times, but were shocked at the prices, as you would think superstores are cheaper.

Got some great little pet shops here with the caring touch

I tend to shop at the rehoming charity i got Vegas from Heather so the money gets ploughed back into the shelter rather than lining a MD's pocket like it would with PAH...

I must add though Heather that i point blankly refuse to use the pet shop in town cause they are absurdly expensive even if they do offer free delivery with sacks of food!!!

I actually clicked on superstore but that's not because I like pets at home I don't, but I do like to be able to browse around without everything falling on top of me or everything being stacked right upto the ceiling behind the counter. Browsers spend more too.

I find the customer service much better in my small local petshop and they charge less than places like PAH. We don't have a local PAH anyway, but I wouldn't go there even if there was!

Pets at home definately.
If I run out of Barf foods I can get it there. My local pet shop WONT stock it but they used to when I first moved here 16 years ago.
I can take my dogs in Pets at Home and its like a day out fun session as not only does it provide smells, furry strange animals in cages but they have squeaky toys they can tell me if they like or not. Not to mention the fuss they get.

I go PAH mostly. It's right by the beach where I walk the boys and it's fun for them all the fuss they get etc. Plus they have a good selection of BARF stuff.
