Firefox or IE?

I've downloaded Firefox as everyone says it's great. But does anyone know what's better about it?

I prefer IE having tried both..I find the features easier to handle, just what you are used to I guess

Only ever had IE, do the others like fire fox & opera work with IE or do you have to uninstall it first, can you have them alongside each other? Wouldn`t mind trying another but don`t want ti confuse the pc or should that be me

Think you can use them alongside one another, I have Firefox and IE but use aol most of the time because I am used to the email system, use firefox when I am researching or playing games.

Firefox all the way!
Since installing firefox, it's amazing when I do a spyware scan....IE used to let so much spyware on my comp, where as the only thing my spyware scanner detects since using firefox, is the Hotmail passport!

We use either Firefox or Maxthon my daughter prefers Maxthon because of the downloadable pink skin
