Awww I'm sure you will be okay Ceiron - just tell the doctor how you are feeling. I remember going to the doctors once quite a few years ago when I was younger and he asked the question whether I ever felt like taking my own life and I answered yes They will probably just give you some anti-depressants. Hope everything goes okay

Try not to worry too much The doctor will understand and know how to help you. Take things slowly and just say whatever you're feeling. If you're unsure about taking drugs discuss it with the doctor. They can reassure you and tell you all your options. xxx

Aww......don't be scared, I was on anti-depressants when I had post natal depression after our second daughter, it was just a low dosage but it helped me through the really dark times, I told them everything, was really worried about telling them some of the feelings I had had, but they were great, just telling them helped.

Well I wasn't on them very long - I just needed them to help me over losing my job in very unpleasant circumstances but I came off them myself and got happy again doing temping work which I thoroughly enjoyed until I got unexpectedly pregnant I was on them briefly when my ex hubby left me and my children but I came off them again because I didn't like the feeling they gave me in my head, they made me feel a bit woozy and not quite with it so I didn't get anymore when they ran out.

Good luck anyway and don't forget to tell the doctor everything about how you are feeling, even if you cry it doesn't matter they will understand

hun, i know how you feel, yet to go to dr's myself for depression, my best mate (who also studied neuro psych with me and had depression for the past 10yrs) says i show the classic signs....but im hesitant about anti depressants, but there are some very good modern ones out there....
