Dog Cage advice!

Hi, can anyone recommend a cage for my car, I have a Cavalier hatchback. At the moment Jack has a harness on, and I'm not really happy with that, but don't know if there is one out there that will fit a hatchback, and what accessories would you recommend to make life comfy and easy for Jack.

there are crates for all cars or you could just buy a normal one that fits into your hatchback (cheaper option). then you need bedding, and possibly a crate fan. You can also get water dishes that sit in aloop attached to the crate. Some dogs also prefer their crate to be covered to make it more den like. Make sure it is big enough for your dog.The sites above will give you guidance on sizes.

This chap does custom made cage sizes or tailgates/dog guards. Super and reasonably priced too (cheaper than Barjo for sure and IMO better made having had both!)

Don't think he is too far away in Bognor too!

Or there is good old ebay if you know what you are looking for!

Thank you so much, all of you, I had no idea there were so many companies doing dog car cages out there, I really thought I'd have no chance of getting one for a hatchback, now I'm spoilt for choice

Something is better than nothing but I would say only buy a cage that is made for a car. The cheap lightweight metal ones with respect would do very little in the case of an accident. If you can bend the metal with your fingers, then it isn't going to be much good if you have a bump and would be more dangerous for the dogs as the weld spots are flimsy. Spend the money and get a good metal cage or specially fitted partitions.
