Bella on the Lizard Hunt!

I am amazed she is in shot as it is so sunny down there I just pointed and clicked. Can't be doing with all that editing out the 'shaking' and can't see how to get rid of the 'soundtrack' (it's just my flip flops crunching on salty sand!) When I copy the share code into bookface it shows the vid. Doesn't happen in here?

She zig zags because the little lizards run off to both sides as you approach. The biggest are only about 6ins long and unfortunately cannot be seen in the vid. I can't see most of the ones she sees as they are the same colour as the sand!

My dog would of been in the water forget the lizards, lol!. Lovely video, she sure tired herself out running about after them.

Thanks Malka pls tell me which bit to copy to get it to appear! And I've only ever seen ONE bigger lizard here - down there and poking his head out of a dead tree trunk. They are all teensie.

Vicky88 this is the FIRST TIME she hasn't been in the water down there - she usually just plods straight in without breaking her stride until it's deep enough to swim.

I've avoided the lake while it is 'drying out' - it gets a bit stinky then. I reckoned that the water being further away and the lizards being closer (there are zillions of em it looks like the sand is shifting!) she would stay at the top.
And don't be thinking that's nice firm sand - it is like blerdy quicksand nearer the water and has this gooey black oily substance just under the surface (yes I've been stuck in it a few times lol!) she is lightweight enough not to sink.
