Hi
My name is Arlene and I have a 7 week old puppy springer x collie (sprollie) called Ted.
I wasn't going to get another dog as we recently lost our 13 year old german shepherd bitch and a wonderful collie x spaniel who was only 10 years.
My family and I was absolutely devastated about losing them both within 10 weeks of each other, and I vowed never to get another dog as we were all so overcome with grief.
Until last Sunday, I thought I can't live in this house without a dog so I surfed the internet until I found our adorable Ted.
So if anyone out there can give us some useful tips and good advice about bringing our Ted up (as it's a long time since we had a young dog) we would be very grateful.

Happy Christmas, Welcome to Dogsey and enjoy your new addition ! Not had a pup for many many yrs my two are rescues who we had from aged 2 , I am sure there are lots of dogsey folks who will offer good advice !

Hi and welcome to a great forum. I too only have rescues now and haven't had a pup for many years but I am sure he will give you lots of pleasure. I am so sorry you lost your other two, must have been heartbreaking and I agree, a house without a dog is awful.
