Which have strayed furthest??????...........

...........from their original purpose and why do you think this?

Sadly in my opinion, it would be Yorkies, people are breedig the dreaded 'Tea-cup' yorkies which are barley bigger then rats themselves.
They wer ebred to go down the mines and see to the rats and mice, i dont think one of our present day Yorkies could deal with a stuffed mouse, let alone a huge rat, rabbit fox.
All aprt from Hevvurs, Kingsley, is is slightly bigger, and more stocky, the way they should be.
I mean Dandie Dinmont terriers, get ridiculed for their looks, but they are still good workers, infact Florries mum, is a Dandie of working lines, and she is somewhat bloodthristy LOL

SO which breed of dog do u think has strayed furthest from its original purpose and why?

Not sure about everyone else but I've noticed a lot of adverts for "miniature yorkies"?
I was beginning to wonder if this was a new breed but it's obviously just a fad!
