I've had 13 all at once before:

1 Irish Setter
2 Pointers
10 English Setters

I grew up with a crossbreed, then progressed to an Irish setter and 2 Cocker Spaniels and then came the English Setters and Pointers.

I'm now down to one English Setter living with me, another living with a friend, and several other English Setters living with very good friends but as their own now rather than mine.
