Polo's son has qualified for Crufts today!

Delighted to hear that my friend Gail, who has worked very hard this year to qualify "Nugget" (Polo's son) for Crufts managed a 2nd in PGD today at BUBA. :smt041 :smt041 :smt041 PGD has been big this year with strong entries so I am so pleased she has persisted as he is finally maturing into a nice dog and there have been times when Gail has come close to giving up.

It would be a miracle I won't be entering Polo this time as he is now definitely retired. However, Deccy is Nugget's cousin - I think - but being in Mid Limit I think the chances of him being placed at the moment are approximately zero, as he is still immature compared to others at that level. Still, it's a day out.
Nugget got a third 2 years ago so the money will be on him rather than Deccy - but it will just be great to see them both there. Nugget is great with crowds and normally draws a small fan club around his bench. He is also doing agility now, and got the Gold Good Citizens' award at 11 months so he is turning into a great all-rounder.

Gail rang me, I told her about this site and the good wishes, I am hoping she will register and join in! At least you may get some up to date pics of her two dogs, I only have baby puppy ones.....
