A Murphy picture update

Here are two photos I took of our nine wek old boy this evening. He has been with us now for a week.

Can the more experienced of you please reassure me that the little accidents in the house, play biting and howling at night does eventually stop

Hope you like the photos

What a lovely little boy he is . Thanks for the share/

The play biting etc. is only him being a normal puppy and it will stop eventual;y and then you will wonder why you worried so much about it. He is still a baby. Enjoy it they grow up too quickly.

Oh no, not spoiled at all!!!

He is stunning, what a pretty wee boy he is.

He is still very much a baby yet, so it will take a bit more time before he can control his bladder better. The howling will stop too, Marius used to sound like a Donkey when he did it!!!

As to the biting, he needs to learn bite inhibition, try saying a little sharp "Ow" or "No" (not loud in case you frighten him). He needs to learn this as if unchecked his bites can get harder as an adult.

When they play with their littermates, they of course squeal and bite back when they are playing, so they learn to judge how hard to bite, with humans we just need to teach them what hurts.
