New photos of Ben - GD/RR

Ben is now nearly 4.5 months old... He's an absolute delight - takes everything in his stride.

My family thought he would be a terrible dog, because they reckoned I spoiled him too much.

When I got him I took 3 weeks off work, and basically spent every minute with Ben either on my lap, playing, potty training. He slept in his crate next to my bed and in my bed, when he could hold his wee.

When I went back to work I did 2 weeks of nightshift, put Ben's crate in the kitchen so he had the birds for company (a Corella and a Quaker), and after I got home in the morning, and he got tired, we both went to sleep in my bed.

Anyway, by 'spoiling' him, I have made him secure of my love and commitment, and Ben is very happy to play by himself, to be by himself when I'm out (I introduced this slowly).

My kids have now changed their tune... Ben is not a spoiled brat, but a confident, gentle puppy... My grandkids love him - they're between 2 and 6 years old. Ben never jumps up on the kids or mouths them as he does me. His bite inhibition is excellent.. He still got his puppy teeth, but basically keeps his mouth open.. Not even a scratch.

Anyway here are some pictures I took today... Very difficult to get picture of him, as he keeps close to me.
