Best Mid Air Action - the Winners !

Sorry for the delay everyone...it took a while to get all the dogs back down to earth to receive their rosettes

Many thanks to Patch for asking me to judge and to first time collator Angelmist for a superb job. Thanks especially to the exhibitors - what a job I had, so many superb pics of dogs really enjoying themselves!

The Leisure class.

1st place had to go to this gorgeous collie boy. The competition was tough but it was his expression that won him the class. I'd love to know what he was doing...jumping off something, pouncing on something??

2nd place goes to this super fit dog - I was amazed how high in the air the dog jumped to catch the ball

3rd place to this little bundle of fun. It may not be the best quality photo but I loved the shot, this dog could have a future as a goalkeeper.

4th place goes to this absolutely amazing photo of a springer doing what springers do I have to admit to wincing though and hoping he landed on all four feet?

5th place went to this gorgeous dog - ok it wasn't the highest off the ground but look at the effortless movement - gorgeous

6th place went to this wonderful shot of an escape artist in action - and he looks so serious about it too - I loved his expression


The sporting class

The quality in this section was superb too, it was probably even harder to judge as all the dogs looked to be enjoying their work so much.
1st place went to this dog, what a jump on him!

2nd place to this amazing dog who appears to be able to fly

3rd place went to this beautiful collie, again it may not be the best picture but it shows a dog having great fun

4th place went to this lovely dog, all the agility shots were great - this one wins her place for the way she's looking for the next command while in mid-air.

5th place to this lovely girl, who looks like she may try to fit the entire frisbee into her mouth

6th place went to this fabulous dog, who looks serious about the job in hand


I wish there were more places as all the entrants truly deserved something, but then all the handlers have already won - they get to take the dogs home

WOW, thank you so much for Jack's first place, I am totaly amazed as the entrants were all so brilliant

Christoper was trying to get Jack to play, (never a hard thing to do ) and Jack had just started to bounce up and down in response, and I was lucky enough to be snapping away at the right moment a couple of seconds later and Jack was doing a zoomie round us
