2008 Best Ginger Eyebrows - the Winners !

Firstly a big thank you to Patch for asking me to judge this group; I think she knows how much I love the ginger eyebrow look and boy are there some great examples from our entrants – so thank you to them for giving me such a tough task. I’m just sorry that I couldn’t have given you all firsts (but as the show secretary reminds me, rules are rules )

And of course thanks to Chaumsong for her thorough job in collating

So, on to the placings.

In first place Nelson.
Of course you can’t have a love of ginger eyebrows without loving rottis but this one in particular stood out because he uses them to such good effect - the ‘hard done by’ expression in this photo would get what he wanted from me every time.



In second place, Buddy.
A pair of eyebrows that Denis Healey himself would have been proud of, though he never ever looked this cute. What a sweetheart.



Third place goes to Roxy Rascal
I just love the way the ginger sets off those eyes – such a soulful face – gorgeous.




In Forth place, Skye
What a cheeky expression which is completely made by the eyebrows. Impossible not to smile when you see this face.



Fifth place goes to Ben
A shade paler than my usual favourite ginger colouring, but who could resist such a sweet face? – not me!



In Sixth place, Magik
Ginger eyebrows on a ginger dog don’t normally stand out so well, but I just loved the way these eyebrows demonstrate the ‘I am not amused’ expression.



In truth, every single dog deserved a placing, but I’ve picked just one more as a special because it is so close to my heart as he reminds me of my now departed Kip.

Like Kip, the ginger may have faded with the years, but you just know that this is a ginger eyebrowed dog through and through.
