Met a cute puppy but

Was in our local pet shop today and one of the staff had her 10wk old pup in for the day. He was a lovely Jack Russell but.....................he was docked
It just shows you that the laws regarding dogs are not taken seriously

Ah but then you are in Fairy Land!
From what I understand, and I'm sure someone else will say if this is wrong, you can only dock working dogs, dogs that actually work not breeds that normally would.... and then yes the person who did it need to be registered to do it.

Now I thought, and I may be wrong, that it apllied more to wokring dogs that could get their tails damaged by the job they do, ie spingers getting hooked on brambles etc and ripping their tails.

Is there a job rotties do that would result in their tails getting ripped? Coz otherwise you'd have a hard job to explain why rotties were being docked.
