Operation Day Tomorrow!

And I'm absolutey terrified! I've been fine up until now, but last night I got about 3 hours sleep, I just couldn't switch off. Now I'm really hungry but I just can't bring myself to eat made myself a really yummy omlette and only managed about 5 mouthfuls!

Just now I was just sat downstairs and I burst into tears because I'm so scared! I know everything will probably be fine but I hate the idea of anaesthetics and having my knee cut open again, my scar's just starting to look normal

I'm planning to have a big breakfast tomorrow morning as I can eat until 8am - whether or not I can stomach it remains to be seen!

Admission time is 12:30 but I could be waiting until 4 - 5pm for my op as they don't know the order of the surgery list until the day, then again I could be first - here's hoping! My friend works at the hospital as a trainee nurse though so she's going to come and keep me company during her breaks which is something.

It's only natural to be scared. When I had my op years ago, I just convinced myself that I was looking forward to a nice rest.

Good luck sweetie, I hope everything goes well xxx

Awwwwww you must be feeling dreadful,I wish I was closer to you as I would gladly have sat with you into the wee small hours having a chat and blasting my way through a jar off coffee.Huge hugs would be the order off the day too.

I am sure all will go fine with the op tomorrow, I know how scary it is but it will be over in no time and hopefully you will be on the mend quickly. Good Luck.

Thanks so much for the kind wishes everyone it means a lot! Didn't get that much sleep last night but managed some scrambled egg on toast this morning, even if I did feel like I was eating cardboard! Have had my final cup of tea and I'm now purely on the water until 10am!

Fingers crossed I should be back home this evening provided all goes well!
