Special class : Best Show Dog AV
BEST SHOW DOG AV
The
Dogsey Virtual Companion Show
uses the same entry eligibility as real Companion show,
which unfortunately means a
CC, RCC or Junior Warrant
excludes you from the `show posed` Pedigree AV classes of the competition.
Therefore, as promised in the FAQ,
in order to enable any such dogs owned by Dogsey members
to have an opportunity to be a part of the Show other than the Novelty classes only,
this is a Special Class for you to enter
Retaining the spirit of the competition means placed dogs
will not gain points toward the final and the winner would not
be able to compete for Best In Show when we reach the finals,
[ but will be in the Winners Gallery albeit as NFC ],
the Show Sec hopes it will prevent any members from feeling quite so excluded from the Pedigree element of the Show because of having done well in the real Breed Show ring

In your pm, please include the following details :
Dogs name [ pet and KC name if you would like both used should you be placed ]
Dogs age [ as near as known when photo was taken ]
Dogs breed
Titles gained [ optional ]
Please do not put any other text in your pm
Do not post your own entries, it will be done for you
Photos in a show pose please, free standing or stacked, and can be from pictures taken at real shows so long as :
1] not taken by a professional photographer
2] no hints of which class nor placing was won at the time
[ The Show Sec can alter photos to disguise text on sashes or rosettes on ring dress if necessary ].

The Judge for this class will be....
Dogsey !
The class will remain open until we reach the finals of the Show, at which time a poll will be set up for members to vote for their favourites in this special class
You can submit photo`s at any time until until Last Call which will be posted in late December
The placed dogs will be awarded Rosette certificates
as are the rest of the shows classes of course
If you have won/win any exclusional titles since entering any classes which have already run in the show, any results gained from those classes will stand for the finals as your dog would not have been a title holder at the time you previously entered classes in this show.
If you compete in Breed Showing
but have not attained the titles concerned and would like to compete against those who have,
the entry rule is now amended to enable this for you on this occasion
