Nipple piercing info ? ( no mine are in tact )

My Son yesterday had his nipple pierced .......don't ask i don;t know all i can think of that smack on the head as dislodged his brain

anyway he was sensible to go to a good reputable CLEAN body piercer so thats a relief

Its bled quite a lot yesterday they applied a mepore dressing over it and i changed it last night ..and this morning its bled through the dressing .
now its said to be normal to bleed but i wonderd if anyones knew how much

As long as it's not loads I wouldn't worry too much. The nipples have a very good blood supply to them.

If it scabs over I would leave the dressing off and let the air around it. Most piercings are a bit sore for a while and will ooze "gunk" after a few days. Give a clean with cooled boiled water and leave alone as much as possible.

But ouch, ouch, ouch is all I can think of

I've had my nipples pierced, it can be really sore for the first few days, but it is best not to put a dressing on if possible.

Clean with boiled, cooled salt water (same as you would for any wounds etc)

I'm totally baffled at why sticking a needle then ring through a nipple is seen to be trenty ..nice ..cool ..a statement
the mind boggles

It baffles me also can't imagine why you would want to inflict uneccessary pain on yourself.
But he's young and maybe like you say its the cool thing to do.
I'm just a boring old f*rt I never stopped my two doing those sorts of things though.Youngest has a large tattoo on his arm,his Friend was told he wasn't allowed to have one while he still lived at home.
