Shocked... but pleased!

I went to the docs this morning to have my foot redressed, fully expected a bit of a mess and for it to look worse before it looked better kind of thing.
Due to a vascular malformation I bleed a lot and healing processes are slowed down so we expected it to take a long time for it to heal after this op (as has been the case with other operations).

But no! It's almost healed! Obviously the dressing was a bit bloody but when she cleaned it it didn't bleed and she said there was no need for much dressing on it.

Could've knocked me down with a feather! I'll be walking the dogs again by the end of the week - you watch

I must admit I expected it to hurt more than it does but it only hurts where he injected the local anaesthetic and it bruised (what with all the blood vessels) where he actually did the op is more or less painfree! I'm just glad to know it's healing well too so I won't be damaging it by using it..

Lottie is smiling for one!

Don't do too much too soon - you will probably be up and about faster in the end
