How Many Dog Owners Does it Take to Change a Light Bulb?

As I have been in the house for 6 weeks, I thought I would get a light bulb for my ground floor ensuite. This is how it went.
0900 Took Deccy for a walk, remembered I need a light bulb
0945 Got in car, put Deccy in the back
1005 Reached town to buy light bulb
1045 Finally found right sort of light bulb and bought it
1110 Got home, let Deccy into garden
1130 Took Deccy for a walk as it had stopped raining
1215 Got back, wiped Deccy down as he was muddy
1230 Fed Deccy and had lunch
1300 Thought about light bulb and where the hell are the stepladders?????
1330 Did Deccy's nails for the show tomorrow
1345 Decided deccy was very grubby and needed a bath
1400 Found that Deccy CAN jump in the Edwardian bath even though it is high
1420 Finished bathing Deccy and change into dry clothes
1430 Got Deccy installed on the dog settee on clean bedding
1500 Found stepladders, couldn't remember where light bulb was
1510 Saw Deccy was shivering, so found spare vetbed and draped it around him
1515 Had big cuddles with Deccy who still looked pathetic.
1510 Did Deccy's nails again
1530 Got stepladders out, got them in position in ensuite. Still can't find bulb
1600 Found lightbulb
1630 Fed Deccy his tea
1700 Went up stepladders with bulb, then found it needed two hands to unscrew the glass bowl shade
1705 Put bulb down, unscrewed shade and put it down carefully
1707 Can't find bulb
1710 Found bulb, inserted in holder, unbeknown to me it's switched on and I am so surprised I drop it!
1715 Resign myself to washing in the gloom again.......
1720 Put light bulb on shopping list for tomorrow
