Beckham back .....

I am pleased to see him back I was one of the doubters who thought he should have gone last year but we do need him

Not in my opinion, it will be just going back to, pass to becks, let him cross it, maybe score and he can take free kicks. What we need is some manager who can get the players he has playing like they do in the league.

agreed to a degree...................but with players not performing as an England team not really many options suprised to see Owen selected and Lampard ( totally useless for England) as for getting players to play well like in the league well in all fairness they do play week in week out together and can gel easier

Becks may not have pace but he sets up goals

I could understand it if he was playing well before being dropped, but he wasnt, his last good game for us was greece in 2001, after that he was playing as bad as lampard and gerrards. Hopefully he may take the chance and play well. As for selecting owen he needs matches and has come back at a bad time, I think playing him last night and next against brazil is good, that and it annoys fat freddie shepherd so it can be a bad thing.

hopefully, cos that was the prob under sven, he would not drop anyone and mccleran is the same with lampard.

I'm not bothered about Beckham being back (as in the Beckham should he or shouldn't he play debate) but I'm glad that the Manager has gone ahead and picked him on his current form.

I just think he is scrummy

Beckham had just got bigger than the team, built out of all proportion.
