OH's old lad (Working Beardie)

After the discussion regarding Herbie and the Bloodhound and Beardie TV programme, I nagged my OH into scanning a photo in of Bill his old working beardie.

Here he is.

Oh he is a lovely looking lad as well. From what it said on the programme it made it sound like there were no working beardies at all, so really glad that wasn't true

Now that is a breed that really needs to be worked! Where did he get him from?

Well there aren't many (if any) "true" working beardies anymore - most of them have border collie blood in them somewhere along the way.

Definitely Becky!

Bill came from a farmer at Biggar who had had a litter out of his working bitch. No illustrious lines to speak of, just good farm-bred workers.
