Tips and Hints

There are all sorts of things which can help make a fun show a lovely relaxed experience, so lets hear your tips !

I will start it off with a few :

There might be some waiting around, so to prevent boredom, take some toys to keep your dog occupied

Take brushes / combs. Not just for dogs to look good in the ring but to spend some extra bonding time.
If you have a child who will be handling in a class, teach them how to groom as well, it will enhance their experience not just for the show but for general day to day dog grooming.

Take a deck chair

Some events have food available but take snacks / packed lunch / flask / cold drinks if you are not sure - a hungry and thirsty day is a very long day

Take plenty of water for your dog. Some venues have water points available, but just in case, take some with you.

Over to you, lets have some more tips and hints

take plenty of cash, we normally find nice little stalls at the shows we attend and it all goes to a good cause after all and definately take a chair/picnic rug as Patch says, you'll soon tire of standing about all day.
