Why does my dog mouth me with his teeth then when told to stop does so then licks me on the same area

Hi Paul
how old is your dog, does she bite hard or is she nibbling you gently with her teeth then licking. If it is the latter she could be grooming you as she would another dog.

hey thanx for the answer, my dog is 15mths old labrador named buster,incredibly licky still it saves on showers ha ha, so once again thankyou

some dogs are 'licky' because they like the taste of human skin which can be a bit salty .
